Makers Club – How Many Books can Paper and Tape Hold?

Our Makers Challenge this Wednesday was to create some sort of structure out of paper and tape that could hold a stack of books. We started with about ten books, but our competitive makers wanted to see who could build the strongest structure. After stacking as many books as they could on their creations, we had to do an earthquake test. You can see the results for yourself:

Afterwards, the kids had a choice about what project they could make, including yarn pom pom earrings, and light up LED cards. Tyree Green made an excellent fox origami puppet that lit up!
