The library staff would like to offer a richer selection of books and library materials so that every student’s interests are met. According to School Libraries Count!, the top quarter of school libraries average 26 books per student.
Currently, Capital City’s library has 10 books per lower school student and fewer than 10 per middle and high school students. Our ultimate goal is to reach 20 books per student, but to get there, we need additional funding and support.
