William Hawk, Director of School Information Systems
Wil joined Capital City in October 2014. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Instructional Leadership from the Notre Dame of Maryland University. He holds an Master of Science in Linguistics from Georgetown University; a Master of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Wake Forest University.
Wil brings 20 years of experience having worked previously at Knox County Schools (Tennessee), National Institute for Literacy, Baltimore City Public School System, Maryland State Department of Education, Library of Congress, and most recently at the Urban Teacher Center.
His hobbies include camping, hiking, gardening, travel, swimming, and vegan cooking.
