Binni Chadda, Math Intervention Specialist
Binni joined Capital City in August 2015. She holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Science from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.
Binni taught health sciences electives for two years at Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, DC prior to coming to Capital City. Before teaching, she worked as an epidemiologist in cancer research for the International Epidemiology Institute in Rockville, Maryland.
Binni is excited about her new career as a high school science and math teacher, which include anatomy and physiology. Binni has participated in OSSE’s Science Educator Leadership Cadre worked with the Rock Creek Conservation Corps, and participated in Outward Bound’s Educator Initiative.
Outside of school, Binni is a cycling coach for Team in Training, takes art classes and enjoys spending time outdoors. Also, she has an identical twin!
