Lavinia Aguiao, 10th Grade World History & English Inclusion Teacher

Lavinia joined Capital City in August 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations with a minor in Women Studies from Trinity Washington University.

Before joining Capital City, Lavinia taught for five years at High Road Upper School. She was awarded Teacher of the Month in May 2017 and Teacher of the Year.

Lavina is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and speaks intermediate French.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, dancing and exploring museums in DC.
