Leila Corcoran, Internship Coordinator
Leila became the Internship Coordinator in March 2018, having previously worked at Capital City as an inclusion teacher, Writing Center instructor and teaching fellow in Pre-K/K.
She holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Andrews University, Scotland.
Before joining Capital City, Leila worked as a journalist covering a range of topics from finance to food. She continues to work as a freelance writer and editor.
She is a native Washingtonian, and in her free time enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and long walks in Rock Creek Park with her dogs.
