Liane Miller

Liane Miller, 10th Grade Chemistry Teacher  

Liane joined Capital City in August 2011 as a Literacy Inclusion teacher, before teaching chemistry. Starting with the 2016-2017 school year, she will be teaching AP Environmental Science in addition to Chemistry.

Liane holds a Master of Science in Science Education from Montana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She has dual certification in Biology and Special Education through the New Teacher Project.

Before coming to Capital City, Liane was a science and special education teacher at Largo High School in Maryland. Prior to that, she taught outdoor education to middle school students in California.

Liane enjoys running, biking, yoga, reading, gardening, and hiking.
