Miriam Hammond, 10th Grade English Teacher
Miriam joined Capital City in August 2019. She holds a Master of Education in Teacher Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tuskegee University.
Before joining Capital City, Miriam worked at Boston Public Schools and at the Akilah Institute in Kigali, Rwanda. She was the U.S. Department of State Fulbright U.S. Student Program Recipient in 2017.
In her free time, Miriam enjoys traveling to new places, trying new food, and spending time with her family and friends.
