Patience Opara

Patience Opara, Dedicated Aide

Patience joined Capital City in August 2016. She is a certified Nursing Assistant and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethel University in Tennessee.

Soccer is more than a hobby for Patience. She was a member of the Nigerian Women’s Soccer World Cup Team in 1999 and participated in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. She is also a distinguished college soccer player and former team captain of Bethel University. While playing for Bethel, she was awarded Player of the Year by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for three consecutive years (2001, 2002, and 2003).

Patience has ample experience working with children and coached at Brit-am Soccer Academy and the Capital Futbol Club for three years. Unsurprisingly, she is now a soccer coach at Capital City.
