Todd Kutyla, Fitness Teacher & Adventure Coordinator
Todd joined Capital City in August 2012. He holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies focused on intercultural communication from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from Ithaca College.
Prior to Capital City, Todd worked as the Director of Development at Ivymount School in Potomac, MD and as the faculty member in charge of outdoor and experiential education at School for Tomorrow in Rockville, MD. He has also co-directed the Counselor in Training program at Valley Mill Camp in Darnestown, MD for three years.
Todd is a Certified Wilderness First Responder and a Wilderness First Aid Instructor. He is trained in CPR and First Aid. In 2016 he was selected as a Fund for Teachers Awardee to complete a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician Training in New Hampshire.
Todd's hobbies include cycling, running, camping, canoeing/kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, tinkering and building things.
