Emmanuel Taiwo, Director of Student Services
Emmanuel joined Capital City in August 2012. He holds a doctorate degree (EdD) in Special Education from the Johns Hopkins University and dual master's degrees in Elementary and Special Education from Lesley University, MA.
Prior to his current position, Emmanuel worked as a 4th-grade Inclusion Teacher at Capital City. He also worked at Septima Clark Public Charter School in Washington, DC; Christ Academy International in Abuja, Nigeria; and the University of Winneba Demonstration School in Ghana.
Emmanuel speaks Yoruba and his hobbies include playing the piano, traveling with his family, and reading.
