Martin Wall, Visual Arts Teacher
Martin joined Capital City in April 2011. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. He has fifteen years of experience teaching art to elementary, middle and high school students in the Washington area.
Before coming to Capital City, Martin was a drawing and ceramics instructor for the Center for the Arts at Holton-Arms School. He has also worked as an art teacher and chair of the art department at Cesar Chavez Public Charter School. He began his teaching career at Sacred Heart School, where he personally purchased a second-hand kiln so he could start a ceramics program with his middle school students.
Outside of Capital City, Martin teaches adult drawing and painting classes at the Washington Studio School. He spends the rest of his time playing music, painting and drawing.
