Angela Miranda, 5th Grade Math Inclusion Teacher

Angela joined Capital City in August 2018. She holds a Bachelor in English Literature and a certificate in Children’s Literature from the University of Pittsburgh. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Elementary Education/Special Education at Johns Hopkins University.

Angela received her training through Urban Teachers. Before joining Capital City, Angela worked at Butler County Children’s Center, Jumpstart Pittsburgh, Braddock Youth Project (Pittsburgh), HOST Kids (Pittsburgh), Payne Elementary Springboard, EL Haynes PCS, and The Nationals Youth Baseball Academy.

In her free time, Angela enjoys outdoor activities. She likes going to the movies, museums, and trying different foods. Cool fact about Angela: she was a cheerleader and competed at the 2010 Cheerleading Worlds!
