Heidi Marohn, 6th Grade Humanities Teacher
Heidi joined Capital City in August 2015. She graduated with a B.A. in English, German, and Secondary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and did a year of study abroad at the University of Konstanz in Germany. She also holds a B.F.A. from the Corcoran School of Art.
Heidi has been teaching for 13 years and primarily taught middle school language and arts classes. She is certified in the Wilson Reading System, a reading intervention program.
Heidi speaks conversational German, enjoys being with her family and friends, reading, letter writing, calligraphy, ceramics, bookmaking, drawing, walking, and making sculpey earrings.
