Welcome to school year 2020-2021! While this will be a different type of start then we’ve ever experienced, the Middle School staff is committed to making this an extraordinary year for all of our students and families!
DISTANCE LEARNING IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Capital City Middle School will deliver an engaging and challenging program for 5th - 8th grade students during distance learning. Learn more in the resources below.
LEARNING STARTS HERE!
Capital City Middle School students can find schedules, Zoom links for classes/Crew, and assignments in Google Classroom in Clever.
Log in to JumpRope to view grades.
REMINDERS:
- Clever should automatically open as the homepage on your school-issued Chromebook. Scroll down on this webpage to Technology Support for help.
- Individual schedules and JumpRope account passwords were emailed to families. Please reach out to your child's Crew leader if you have questions.
- Families were invited as "observers" in Google Classroom. Please email your child's teacher(s) if you have questions.
SCHEDULES
View the Master Schedule for 5th-8th grade students. Individual schedules were emailed to all families in August (check your inbox for an email from registrar@ccpcs.org). You can also view your child's schedule in Clever. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Crew leader.
COMMUNICATION WITH FAMILIES
- Read the weekly newsletter, This Week at Capital City, every Monday for Middle School updates and school-wide information. Read previous editions here.
- Check the Middle School calendar for Thursday Talks, Townhalls, and Family Listening Sessions. View our website calendar for all school events. Watch recordings below.

Every Thursday at 3:30pm you can Catch the Tea with Principal Cox on Instagram Live. Join Principal Cox for announcements and updates, shout outs, and more as she brings some Middle School Flava to Capital City's Instagram.
SCHOOL COUNSELING
The pandemic and Distance Learning are challenging for our school community. If you think your Middle School student would benefit from School Counseling, please complete this form. Mrs. Damon, the School Counselor, will reach out to you to gather more information to meet the needs of your student or family.
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
Do you have questions about the school-issued technology? Use this guide as a quick reference.
Read the Middle School Digital Roadmap for information about logging into the Chromebook, using Clever, and accessing Zoom links through Google Calendar.
