Expert visitors at CCPCS

For their "Designing the Future: Rights for All" expedition, 8th graders in Tim Shaw's humanities class met with experts from four organizations who are working to solve problems in our community. High School students in Tonica Tatum-Gormes' math class gained critical financial literacy skills from guest speakers from the Federal Reserve Board. The 11th grade team organized a powerful visit from three veterans from the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), who shared their experiences during the Civil Rights Movement.
