Green Leaders

High School students with their electric car

Our high school students are green leaders! Physics students, who spent the school year learning about renewable energy, built a battery powered race car! This type of hands-on, real-world experience is integral to our EL Education model. Constructing an electric car helps grow our students' STEM skills and build character through collaboration and teamwork.

In June, our students competed in the Washington, DC Electric Vehicle Grand Prix. They placed 14th out of 26 teams!
