A huge congratulations to our very own Armando Martinez, rising 12th grader, for receiving a DC Office of Attorney General Right Direction Award! This award recognizes DC youth who have overcome significant challenges to make a positive personal improvement. We are so proud of Armando for sharing his incredibly powerful story and inspiring us all.
On August 10th, Armando was honored at the Right Direction Awards ceremony. DC Attorney General Karl Racine, Mayor Muriel Bowser, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and more came to the ceremony to recognize students making a difference in their own lives and the community.
