Middle School and High School After School Activities (grades 5 – 12)
Capital City offers a wide variety of seasonal sports, arts and enrichment activities after school for middle and high school students. Activities are free and all students are encouraged to participate. Given the wide age span served, not all activities are open to all grade levels. Typical activities include:

Sports:
soccer, flag football, cross country, cheerleading, lacrosse, swimming, softball, basketball, tennis, track and field, volleyball

Arts:
dance and step, drama, drumline, steel drum band, chorus, studio art, graffiti art

Enrichment:
yearbook, debate, Botball®, student government, SAT/ACT Prep, chess, cooking
Students participating in after school activities must maintain strong academics and complete homework. Most activities are led by Capital City staff members from 3:30 – 5:30 pm. Snacks are provided. For more information, please contact afterschool@ccpcs.org.

Capital City receives funding for this program through the Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes.
Academic Support for Middle School and High School Students
Capital City offers a before and after school homework center for middle and high school students. There are also academic support initiatives offered on Saturdays and Wednesday afternoons.
