Related to their spring expedition, the 8th grade team launched a new activity in the Middle School —Shark Tank Day. Eighth graders have been studying various human rights, and how they are both broken and supported in today’s world. On April 12th, as a culmination of their expedition, students pitched a prototype for a product they designed to either raise awareness of or enforce a particular human right.
Tim Shaw, Humanities Teacher, reflected, "I love being a teacher at Capital City because we empower our students to use their talents to build a more equitable and just society."
