TIER-ific News

On November 8th, the DC Public Charter School Board (PCSB) released the 2017 School Quality Reports. These are the results of an annual, multiple measure evaluation used to track school performance across the city. We are proud to share that Capital City Lower School and High School both achieved Tier 1, ranking them among the top performing public charter schools in the District.

Our Middle School scored at the high end of Tier 2, continuing an upward trend towards Tier 1. At this rate, we are on track to reach our goal of Tier 1 for all campuses. Download our School Quality Reports for High School, Middle School, and Lower School.

Every day, we strive to deliver a program focused on academics, character and equity that will prepare our students for life. On November 3rd, 100% of the Class of 2018 applied to college during our annual March to the Mailbox. This is only the beginning of what we expect from our seniors. Since our 1st class in 2012, 100% of graduating seniors have been accepted to college.

We are incredibly thankful to our administrators, teachers and families for helping us achieve these results. Capital City will continue to provide all of our students with the education, experiences and opportunities needed to thrive.
